The SoftDev Medical Tubes Sorter Controller was created when SoftDev was requested to develop the controller by a Bio Medical start up company back in 2007-2008.

The following was developed as part of the Medical Tubes Sorter Controller:

• SOA architecture using XML SOAP Web services
• Windows Service back office technologies
• Plug in mechanisms with Machine and electronic modules emulators
• Lab ASTM communications for Medical Tubes and patients information
• Multi threading background workers threads / tasks
• Installshield Install packages
• PIC USB Master / Slave comms c program for onboard electronics providing automation for:
  
  •     Length, Scale, Colour and multi position sensors
  •     Continuous current motor control
  •     Stepper motors control

And the following technologies were used to implement the solution:
